Champissage Saturday

Champissage (or Indian Head Massage) is an Ayurvedic form of relaxation massage that focuses on the face, head, neck, shoulders, upper back and upper arms … all of which connect with important energy centers within the body.

Take your hands off the mouse or keyboard for a moment and run your fingers through your hair. Take a deep breath, bend your knuckles and do this again with your fingertips, adding a little more pressure to the scalp. Take another deep breath,  gather some hair between your fingers and gently   pull it away from the scalp. Do you feel the smallest amount of stress being released?

When was the last time you went to have your hair done and as luck would have it you met someone who gave a fabulous scalp massage, if only for a few minutes, while shampooing your hair? Did you feel like your whole body had melted into the sink?

Each Champissage session includes circular, rhythmic strokes and other special techniques that alternate between simulating and calming the scalp. This relaxing form of massage has a balancing effect as it helps to release stress and tension, creating a sense of peace and well-being. It nourishes the scalp and gives rise to strong, beautiful hair.

Gentle relaxation massage to the facial muscles, neck and shoulders adds to the soothing effects.

This Saturday, Sept 22nd, I invite YOU to take just 45 minutes out of your day to just say ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
A short period of time to lie down on a heated massage table, put your feet up and enjoy peaceful quiet music in a harmonious atmosphere. Put yourself in my hands for just a little while.

I offer 2 different Champissage sessions….one with oil and one without.
For a session with oil: specially blended essential oils in a base of nourishing Sesame oil is used. Oils that nourish both the scalp, hair and face.
Session with Oil $60.00 (plus HST), Session without Oil $45.00 (plus HST)

Appointments available between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

    • Hi Cindy
I so understand how that feels when you’re going to massage school…trust me though, you will miss it once you’re done! Yes, I likely will offer the Champissage class again and I will let you know when dates are set. Good luck with the rest of your studies!
