What should I wear to a session?

It’s important that you are comfortable for any session you have so that you can fully relax. Try to stay away from tight, restrictive clothing and waistbands, be sure to bring an extra sweater or jacket for after your session in case you cool down. For Massage session you may find that there is residual lotion or oil left on your skin so be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting oil on.

Do I fully undress for a session?

For Reflexology, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy you remain fully clothed. For Massage Therapy  you undress to your underpants, if you are comfortable with that (some ladies prefer to also keep their bra on and that is fine – whatever is comfortable for you). There are cover sheets and blankets on the massage table to cover with and during your session only the part of your body that is being treated will be uncovered. For example: If  your left leg is receiving massage then only your left leg will be uncovered, otherwise the covers remain around you.

Can I talk during a session?

This is your session and it is up to you. Some clients prefer to close their eyes and relax completely during a session and refrain from any discussion, while others prefer to talk as the session takes place. I will follow your lead. I do ask though, that if at any time you are uncomfortable during your session you let me know.

How often should I book my appointments?

When working on something specific it is suggested that sessions are close together, usually 5 to 7 days apart. This way we can be more sure of affecting a change and moving forward in your well-being. After that, maintenance varies as does each person. Some choose to maintain and restore weekly, others twice a month or monthly. The goal is to achieve and maintain your vital good health and  if you are partnering other healthy lifestyle choices along with your sessions then you will be working hand in hand with your body, spirit and mind and you will know instinctively, when you need to return.
